At Tulip Tech, based in Eindhoven and Den Bosch, we are leaders in designing and manufacturing high-energy-density batteries. Job Description
As we expand our manufacturing team, we are looking for a driven Mechanical Engineer to join us on our journey to provide drones with the best batteries. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) where you will play a vital role in designing, analysing, and improving mechanical systems and components. You are a key part of our team, collaborating across disciplines and contributing throughout the product development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and products in accordance with specifications and industry standards
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine feasibility, design approaches, and performance of mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical design with electrical and software components
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions as required
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design calculations, reports, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the engineering process

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently manage projects
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
